Dan Friedman
Managing Partner
Dan P. Friedman is the Managing Member of Friedman & Company, LLC which he founded in 2003. While managing Friedman & Company, Dan also served as the New York financial services partner for the Ray & Berndtson global search network from December 2004 to September 2005. Previously, Dan was a Principal with Whitney Group, a global retained executive search firm, from September 2000 to 2003. At Whitney Group, Dan originated and managed retained searches for senior positions at investment banks, broker dealers, asset management and private equity firms.
Prior to joining Whitney Group, Dan was a partner and co-head of the investment banking group at Smith Hanley, a national executive search firm, from 1993 to 2000.
Dan began his career in executive search in 1984, focused on the recruitment of financial advisors, and subsequently founded a boutique search firm, Dan Friedman Associates, Inc. in New York City.
Dan received an A.B. degree from Brown University.
Russell Singletary
Partner
Russell Singletary is a Partner with Friedman & Company, LLC. Russell originates and executes assignments for the firm's investment banking and private equity clients. He has completed senior level assignments in M&A and all major investment banking industry sectors and product groups. Russell has worked with top-tier boutiques and bulge-bracket firms on new business entries and team lift outs. Prior to his career in executive search, Russell worked in education in New Orleans and Japan.
Russell graduated from Vassar College with a B.A. in mathematics.
Ryan Unger
Managing Director
Ryan Unger is a Managing Director with Friedman & Company, LLC. At Friedman & Company, Ryan originates and executes assignments for the firm's investment banking clients. Prior to joining, Ryan co-founded a social media startup.
Ryan graduated from Quinnipiac University with a degree in public relations.
